A generic research interest for several years has been the use of computer based technologies to generate decorative patterns and textures onto metal forms. Typically this has resulted in the design and production of jewellery, and vessels in various sizes, made from precious and non-precious metals, utilizing computer engraving hardware, and most recently, lasers.
