We are pleased to announce that Theresa Nguyen who graduated from our BA (Hons) Jewellery and Silversmithing course in 2007 has been selected to be an ambassador of British Silver Week 2010.
The prestigious British Silver Week launches on 27th April 2010 with numerous selling exhibitions across the UK representing more than 100 contemporary silversmiths. The exhibitions will form part of “Summer Silver” which takes place during the week of 7th – 14th June. For further information please visit www.britishsilverweek.co.uk
Theresa"s work is currently on show at” Treasures of the 21st Century” an exhibition of contemporary silver from the renowned collection at Goldsmiths’ Hall. The exhibition is held at the Ruthin Craft Centre from 29th January to 11th April. “The exhibition consists of over 100 pieces by 43 silversmiths, all chosen to be ambassadors of the craft in the first decade of the 21st Century” A Goldsmiths’ Company exhibition curated by Rosemary Ransome Wallis.
