A Live Interview on BBC Radio WM took place today (Monday 23rd November 2009) at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to promote ‘Flux’ an exhibition of “new and emerging contemporary designer makers” as part of Brilliantly Birmingham.
Lydia Feast, a Jewellery designer/maker who graduated recently from our BA(Hons) Jewellery and Silversmithing course was interviewed alongside Susan McNally and Katy Barton. Lydia was asked about being selected for Flux, being a contemporary designer/maker in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and also had the chance to discuss her work and her time studying at School of Jewellery. Lydia’s work can be seen over Christmas and the New Year at ‘Flux’ held at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, as well as ‘Debut’ at the RBSA Gallery in St Paul’s Square Birmingham and Bright/Light “an exhibition of contrasts” on at Kath Libbert Jewellery Gallery at Salts Mill, Bradford.
