Recent School graduates exhibit their new collections this week at Origin, The London Craft Fair held at Somerset House. The exhibition takes place over two weeks and this year our exhibitors include graduates Leila Arzaghi, Esther Lord, Clare Pardoe, Sangeun Kim and Xianou Ni.

The new School programme of Artists in Residence boasts exhibitors Kathryn Partington and Tusheeta David, who are also former graduates.

Origin: The London Craft Fair was launched in 2006, replacing the Chelsea Crafts Fair as the UK’s principal selling event for individual designer-makers. 2009 is the fourth Origin, exhibiting around 300 makers from 18 different countries. Ceramics, textiles, glass, furniture, metalwork and jewellery are amongst the crafts on sale and work ranges from functional tableware and sculptural glassware to classic knitwear and innovative jewellery and millinery.

Origin is a presentation of the very best of craft talent, established names and emerging talent exhibit alongside one another, presenting a consistently high standard and demonstrating creativity and technical skill.

The exhibition is open on 06th -11th & 13th -18th October 2008
