Kathryn Partington, Next Move Awardee, showcases innovative new jewellery ranges @ The London Craft Fair ORIGIN

Emerging up and coming jewellery artist Kathryn Partington is showcasing her ‘one off’ wearable pieces at the forthcoming London craft fair, Origin, week 2, during 13th – 18th October 2009.

Kathryn is the recipient of the innovative setting-up scheme, ‘Next Move,’ awarded by the Crafts Council and will be showcasing her collections at this prestigious event.

Her diverse use of materials demonstrates an inventive juxtaposition of background training within the discipline of printed textiles, surface pattern and ceramic tableware design. Works will include the combination of natural and hand dyed screen-printed silks, hand engraved slip cast bone china, silver and metals. The application of surface decoration, colour and the crossover of processes enable the creation of jewellery pieces that are extremely unique within the arena of contemporary jewellery, craft & fashion.
