Frost Opening

05-Dec-2008
As the depths of winter set in, the opening of ‘Frost’ was brilliantly relevant and certainly did not disappoint.

‘Frost’ is a dazzling display of eighteen bespoke and individual jewellery collections, designed and crafted by Midland’s based creatives from Design Space. The works sit beautifully in crystal clear cabinets, lit-up at St Pauls Gallery, situated perfectly within the creative hub that is Birmingham’s award winning Jewellery Quarter.

Ranging from distinctive earrings and delicate necklaces to intricate bracelets, each individual’s work is uniquely different, yet perfectly complimenting one another. The bitterly cold evening was firmly forgotten inside St Paul’s gallery where it was warmly lit up with conversation, smiles and inspiration – not surprising with seasonal nibbles and complimentary wine flowing steadily!

With the hand crafted work receiving interest and sales happening throughout the evening, the creators were all present to talk to prospective buyers about their truly unique work. Visitors braving the winter’s chill included Bob Crutchley from Precision Micro LTD being amongst the many that were present, evidence that ‘Frost’ is attracting some famous faces.

Frost is definitely an opportunity not to be missed, this stunning collection will be set in St Paul’s Gallery until Saturday evening (6th December). The exhibition then tours to ‘The David Louis Project’ at Artfull Expression, Warstone Lane – a new gallery that has been renovated specially for this event.
