Meet up with Michelle Ni

One of the pleasant aspects of visiting this year’s Origin show in London was to meet up with Michelle Ni, who was exhibiting in the second week.
Michelle (Xianou Ni) graduated from the MA course at the School in 2007, having also previously undertaken the ND programme in Precious Metals. For the last year she has been artist-in-residence at London Metropolitan University which she enjoys tremendously.
She had a relatively large stand at Origin though managed to fill it with an impressive collection of work. The majority of pieces were in silver with the larger, more elaborate items indicating dynamic, linear qualities similar to her final MA collection.
