Prizegiving 2008

The School of Jewellery’s Prizegiving ceremony for 2008 was held in St Pauls Church on Thursday 19th June. The evening was organised by the British Jewellers Association and related to the judging event held at the School a few days earlier.
Prizegiving enables student achievement over the year to be recognized and rewarded. Prizes covering all courses and subjects are donated by industry and indicate an encouraging continuation of the local support that has existed since 1890.
This year prizes were presented by Dr. Jack M. Ogden, Chief Executive of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain
