New students got off to a flying start this induction week. Students joined together to form design teams to take part in the schools design challenge.
From a limited range of materials design teams were asked to design and make a FLYING MACHINE!
All the machines were entered into a competition and design teams were asked to choose a pilot to launch their flying machines. These were launched in the schools atrium from the 2nd floor balcony.
Judges awarded prizes in the following categories, The Slowest Decent, Accuracy and Aesthetic.
