Kathryn’s Next Move

Kathryn Partington is a 2007 MA postgraduate from the School of Jewellery, Birmingham and is currently an artist in resident based at the school. She supported by The Crafts Councils setting up scheme entitled ‘Next Move.’

She is establishing and developing her practice by exploring the application of surface pattern and ornamentation within jewellery. 'One off,' beautiful wearable items are created, conveying a spirit of Japanese Aesthetics through the combination of material & process that informs and influences her work.

Kathryn is launching a new collection this autumn and exhibiting her work for the first time at the following shows:
