Short Courses for Summer 2014

A new range of inspirational and affordable summer short courses for jewellery for beginners or professionals are now available to book.

Our programme of events for 2014 commences on Monday, 23 June.

Our short courses have been designed specially to meet the needs of creative individuals to develop their skills. Courses are taught by experienced high level practitioners working in the jewellery industry and are delivered in our School of Jewellerys extensively-equipped contemporary workshops. Our School of Jewellery is located in the heart of BirminghamҒs historic Jewellery Quarter the perfect environment to obtain expert training, engage with useful industry contacts

Our next open day!

Our next Open Days takes place on Saturday, 14 June 2014 (9am to 3pm - all University campus locations will be open). Registration for this event will open in Spring 2014 - keep checking our main Open Days page.

Located over four sites in a city which is home to a culturally diverse and vibrant arts scene, BIAD (Birmingham Institute of Art and Design) is one of the largest centres for art, architecture and design education in the UK. It provides a stimulating environment in which to study - helping thousands of people make it in the creative world. 

Open Days offer you the opportunity to find out what student life is really like at BIAD. You can ask staff and students questions about your subject course - visit our learning facilities, and get a real feel for what it is like living and learning here.

If you're an applicant you're also invited to attend our Open Days - this will give you a closer look at your course, enabling you to make your decision to study with us.
