Welcome to the School of Jewellery, which is positioned within the faculty of Birmingham Institute of Art and Design at Birmingham City University.
The School of Jewellery on Vittoria Street has been located in the heart of Birmingham’s famous Jewellery Quarter since 1890.

Professor Jivan Astfalck will chair an international symposium where twelve international jewellery artists will present new commissions in response to Manchester Art Gallery’s Pre-Raphaelite painting collection.

National FREVD Open Design Competition 2009
Current MA student, Simon Pattison recently became the first winner of the national FREVD Open Design Competition 2009, and was also successful in gaining third place in the competition.
